What is HIPOTEX?
It is acous-textile with fractional ingredient of rubber granules, which has been produced by material recycling process of used tires as one of its output products.
For whom is HIPOTEX suitable?
Above all for riding-halls and arenas (young and old horses) for its surface enhancement – covered and uncover.
How, where and why to use it?
At mixture of this material with sand class C 0 – 1 is surface very elastic and hoof tread is flexible.
Its usage has no limits. It can be used in the interiors and in the exteriors too.
Directions for use
Volumic rate of textile and sand is 1:1.
Height at deposition is necessary minimally 15cm – for the finis thickness c. 10cm.
It’s better to begin by laying of textile component and then lay sand on it. It’s possible to lay half sand first, then lay HIPOTEX and then lay second half of sand on it. Before it gets to immixture and pulverization by operation of horse hooves it is necessary to scuff, roll and sprinkle every week at least for two months. After this it’s a cohering substance and it’s not slippery under horse hooves like a sand or sawdust. It settles down and it still has its elasticity. From this moment, it’s not necessary to govern the surface very often, just to sprinkle it depending on air humidity. Actual substance holds the humidity well.
Reasons for its use…
1. Younger horses are on the beginning of their sports career sensitive on harder surface, which can make irreparable harm on theirs undeveloped knucklebones.
2. Older horses suffering from rheumatism and spondylodynia as people, so they are wallowing on this surface.
3. It doesn’t make pathways on periphery at riding lessons as with sawdust. Substance gets up easily and then it stays still.
4. Hard frost doesn’t make sleeks.
5. It’s cheaper than sawdust.
6. Nearly maintenance-free surface.
